Gabriel Sanchez is the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Owner of Black Crest Protection and a licensed California Private Patrol Operator (PPO) Qualified Manager. With more than 18 years of experience in the private security industry, Gabriel has built a career centered on operational excellence, client service, and professional leadership.
His experience spans a diverse range of security operations, including retail, residential communities, executive protection, corporate environments, nightlife venues, special events, and high-profile assignments. Throughout his career, he has successfully managed security personnel, developed site-specific security programs, implemented operational policies, ensured regulatory compliance, and built strong relationships with clients across multiple industries.
As an experienced security executive, Gabriel has played an integral role in establishing and growing security companies from the ground up. His expertise extends beyond field operations to strategic planning, organizational development, business operations, risk management, licensing compliance, and client retention. He believes that exceptional security is achieved through preparation, professionalism, accountability, and a proactive approach to protecting people, property, and assets.
As CEO, Gabriel provides strategic leadership for Black Crest Protection, overseeing the company’s operations, business development, quality assurance, and long-term growth. Johnny Rojas
Chief Financial Officer & Co-Owner
Johnny Rojas is the Chief Financial Officer and co-owner of Black Crest Protection, where he brings more than three decades of leadership experience spanning military service, financial management, executive leadership, and public service. His career has been defined by integrity, operational excellence, and an unwavering commitment to professionalism.
Johnny proudly served for 14 years in the United States military, earning numerous awards and commendations for meritorious service, leadership, and exceptional performance. Among his most distinguished accomplishments are being recognized as Soldier of the Year and earning the Sgt Majors Award upon graduating the US Army's Primary Leadership Development Course. These achievements reflect the discipline, accountability, and leadership principles that continue to guide his approach to business today.
In addition to his military background, Johnny has more than 20 years of leadership experience in the financial services industry, where he has managed complex operations, developed high-performing teams, and built lasting relationships based on trust, transparency, and sound financial stewardship. As Chief Financial Officer of Black Crest Protection, he oversees the company's financial strategy, operational planning, and long-term growth initiatives, ensuring the organization remains financially strong while delivering exceptional service to its clients.
Johnny's commitment to leadership extends beyond the private sector. He served two terms as President of the Veterans Association of Real Estate Professionals (VAREP), supporting veteran-focused initiatives, professional development, and community outreach. He also served for five years as a City Planning Commissioner, helping guide responsible development, long-range planning, and community improvement efforts.
